Privacy Policy (the "Website") is a website that markets educational seminars for benefit of individuals who want to learn how Medicare works. IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH OR ENDORSED BY THE US GOVERNMENT, HHS, or CMS. It is a private website operated by a private entity for the benefit of individuals. Attending an event will in no way affect you eligibility for, or enrollment in, the Federal Medicare Program.

Your privacy is important to us. This privacy policy describes the type of information we collect so that you can better understand how the information you may provide to us is used.

Information We Collect

We will collect (and may retain) information that you provide to us directly and also by your use of the network.

Information that we get from your use of the network includes data that a web browser or server typically provides.

Information that you provide directly to the Website via voluntary form submission may include personally identifying information such as your name, zip code, year of birth, phone number, and email address, for example. We use this information to try and fulfill your request and may use it to provide you with additional information at a later time (for example, to notify you of upcoming events in your area). The only third parties which receive your information are the sponsors (i.e. "Event Organizer(s)") of any event that you voluntarily register to attend through the Website. See also the section about "Use of Information" for more information about how your information is shared with an Event Organizer(s).

We also make use of Google Analytics to learn more about the users of our website.

Use of Information

There are various ways we may use information that we collect through the network or that you provide to us directly.

When you visit certain pages on our site we may try to determine your location based upon your IP address so that we may show you upcoming events in your area.

When you register for an event through our site, we collect information that you provide to us such as your name, phone number, email address and ZIP code. This information is stored in a database. It is also shared with the Event Organizer so that they may plan the event for you and other attendees. The Event Organizer may be an individual or business entity (i.e. Corporation or LLC). Given that most the content of Discover Medicare seminars is approved by state insurance departments, and that most Discover Medicare seminars are organized by licensed insurance agents, you should expect that a licensed insurance agent will receive your information when you register for an event. We make no representation as to how the Event Organizer will use your information once they receive it. However, we reserve the right to prohibit any Event Organizer from future use of the Website should we deem their actions to be unlawful, unethical, or otherwise sleazy in nature.

Information we collect through your use of the network may be used to make site improvements or to dynamically update site content based upon your location, browser, or other network characteristic.

You should expect that any information we collect will be kept for an unlimited period of time.

Please note that electronic communication, particularly email, is not necessarily secure against interception. Never include sensitive data (e.g. Social Security number) when registering for an event.

We may use cookies to provide a customized experience for site visitors. While use of cookies is not currently required to use this site, we reserve the right to change this policy at any time.

We also use Google Analytics to collect information about site use. Google Analytics collects information like number of times visited, time spent on the site, pages visited, and even what site you visited before coming to this site. We use the information Google Analytics provides us only to make site improvements. We do not currently combine the data collected through Google Analytics with personally identifiable information, although Google does give us that option.

Google's ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about you is governed by Google Analytics Terms of Use and Google Privacy Policy. You can disable cookies on your browser to avoid tracking; Google also provides a way to opt out of tracking at
